I am a male 26. I just got 16 units of Botox injections on my forehead yesterday, how long will I see results?

A dosage of 16u of Botox may be a bit low. We typically start with 25u Botox to treat glabellar frown lines, and up to 50u for an entire forehead, depending on one's examination. Sit tight for at least a week from injection to judge your results, and consider following up with your surgeon if you are not satisfied at that time. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Botox will take several days for results to show.  Some patients will see a difference within 3 days, other may take up to 14 days.  The botox will start to work gradually and then take full effect within a month.  Botox is usually needed every 4 months.  Good luck.

I tell patients that most effects in 7 days but a full 2 weeks to all of the results.  Everyone is slightly different but I think 1-2 wks is accurate.  Best of luck!

is a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial
expression. The pivotal studies demonstrated that the maximum effects are seen 14 days after a treatment. Most of my patients see improvement in 3-7 days after a treatment. Patience is important. Most people enjoy their results for 3-4 months. At that point a maintenance treatment is recommended. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

Most patients see Botox start to kick in around day 5-7, but it can sometimes take 14 days for full effects to be seen. 16 units is a very small amount for a male, but considering how young you are, you this may be an appropriate amount. Give it 14 days and then decide whether you want more.

The full results of Botox injections takes 2 week.  You may start to see preliminary results in a
couple of days.  I would strongly
recommend a full 2 week period before judging results.

Botox normally begins working after 3-4 days and the maximal effect is seen after 2 weeks.  Botox is a neuromodulator that prevents muscles from contracting and therefore reduces the appearance of wrinkles in the forehead, between the brows and crow’s feet around the eyes

considering that is a relative small dose of botox and men have bigger muscle mass than women I would wait a couple of days or a week to see results. If you don't see any difference I would encourage you to request a larger dose of Botox.

Typically onset of action can vary, but you can usually see the full effect at 2 weeks. good luck!
