Dysport (like Botox) is dissolved in bacteriastatic saline. It always leaves a little lump upon injection. The fluid is reabsorbed by the body within 24 hours. Your injector may have dissolved the neurotoxin in a large volume of saline which mean each injection would have more fluid to be absorbed. I bet the lumps are gone by now. Clifton Smith, M.D.
Hello LovelyM23, Your problem is not unusual. I have seen at least a dozen just like it - in fact my daughter has the same problem. About every 4 months I inject a small amount of botox which solves the problem. It will take an experienced injector but you should not have a problem finding one. That is a good question StaceyVk. When fillers are received by our office they usually have 2-4 years of self life depending on the product. Your injector should have a record of the material used and its lot number indication the expiration date. In reality most fillers are still good long past the expiration date. In my practice the most effective laser to treat sunspots on the face has been the Sciton broad band light (BBL).
