Thank you for your question, oksanat92! Dysport typically takes 3-4 months to wear off. So by March 7th it may be worn off, but can take until April to be fully recovered. Good luck!

The smile should be coming back just around end of February/ March. You should do a lot of smiling to activate the paralyzed muscles faster. RegardsDr. J

I'm sorry you are unhappy with your Dysport treatment. Fortunately the effects that concern you are temporary. The treatment results will gradually fade over the next 3 to 4 months.

It takes 3 - 5 months for Dysport to lose its effect. You can try to speed up the process by actively smiling and contracting those muscles. Confirm with your doctor that it is in fact the dysport, as this is not a common reaction.

Unfortunately, once injected there is not much you can do except let the Dysport naturally wear off.  Luckily, this takes about 3-4 months so you should have your smile back by the time of your wedding.  Additionally, your range of motion will increase gradually over time as the Dysport wears off.

It sounds as though you may have had too much product around your mouth area all at once. At our clinic, we advise staggering areas around the mouth so it doesn’t all kick in at once. If you are getting married in March and your treatment was in December, you should have your normal smile back by then, as the product generally lasts approximately 3-4 months.

Thank you for your question and photos, I'm sorry you've had a bad experience with Dysport. The results of Dysport last approximately 3 months. Injecting neuromodulators into the lower face is more advanced and should be done by an injector with extensive knowledge of facial anatomy. I created a video overviewing Botox/Dysport injections into the masseter muscles, I hope you find it helpful. 

Thank you for your question. Treating the masseter muscles with a neuromodulator such as Dysport will cause the muscle to appear smaller less pronounced over time. It takes between 2-14 days for the medicine to take full effect and up to 4 weeks to start to notice a slimmer face and jaw line. Be sure to have a trained provider perform the treatment as identifying the appropriate muscle to treat takes some experience.
