Hi, I had my otoplasty about 9 months ago and I can see asymmetry between ears, I talked to my Doctor and he said this could be your best results and It may be over-corrected if you do it again. As I can do a revision under 1 year do you think this is acceptable results? or I should insist on doing a revision? when I take a photo asymmetry is more obvious! and even more from the back. Thank you!

From the pics it looks like there is some thicker scar formation (hypertrophic scarring) which is very common in ear surgery. it will require a surgical procedure (another otoplasty) to remove the scarring, and to smooth the helical rim. Sorry this happened but its not uncommon to have this...

I'm sorry that you are having this problem. If the scar or scars are thick, steroid injection can be used to help soften the scars. This is done as in office procedure under local anesthesia. If the scars are not thick, then a scar revision can help. This may likely be able to be...
