How can I fix the unevenness of my eyes? (Photo)

Question

The unevenness of my eyes drives me crazy I've had a brow lift with Botox many times and it does slightly improve the appearance but I feel my one eye is so much heavier then the other. Would eyelid surgery correct this or a brow lift to the one side?

Hello @A604d, thank you for your question and showing your picture. Body parts do not all have the same size or shape. There are generally certain asymmetries. For example, one eyebrow is different from the other and the same happens with our eyes. Eyelid surgery and brow lift surgery can certainly help improve asymmetry. However looking at your photograph you are advised to see a specialist surgeon who performed this type of surgery regularly to make an assessment of your skin quality and measure your eyelid height as well as brow position.

It appears that mayor reason for eye asymmetry is due to droopy eyelids, one more than the other. This can be corrected with appropriate ptosis surgery. In person consultation with a board certified plastic or oculoplastic surgeon, is recommended. Good luck.

The unevenness of your eyes are related to the unevenness of your eyebrows. You did not need a surgical brow lift. A conservative and asymmetrical skin removal on The upper lids to make them look more symmetrical, however there is no perfect symmetry. Everyone has some degree of facial and eyelid asymmetry which is normal since there's a left half of the face and right half of the face that come together in the embryo phase and No face is perfect.

From the photo, it looks like you might have ptosis of the left upper eyelid, and possibly also globe dystopia (left eyeball slightly lower than right eyeball). There are options for you, and an in-person evaluation would be really important.

You have ptosis with asymmetric attachment of the levator to the tarsus. Treatment is surgical of the eyelids, but make sure that whichever plastic or ophthalmic plastic surgeon has significant experience in ptosis repair. (See the last example in the attached link.)
