The region under my eyes is quite sunken, so I did a fat transfer there. However, the volume still isn’t enough. Would I be able to receive infraorbital rim implants as well to restore volume? Is that ever a good idea?

Hello. Your lower eyelid fat pads herniate, which is made more obvious by having prominent eyes. A filler can only cause more problems. You might benefit from a combination of eyelid fat debulking and repositioning, +/- midface lift to smoothen the eyelid/cheek transition.
