Will a sliding genioplasty help me achieve a more V-shaped face? (photos)

I have always had a recessed and weak chin, which combined with my round face makes my philtrum and jowls look ‘droopy’. My lower face look very fat even though I’m already at a low weight and it feels slightly uncomfortable to breathe (my teeth are aligned though). I really want a more skinny and angular jawline and is wondering if sliding genio can achieve that.

Thank you for your pictures. In my opinion, a sliding Genioplasty would be beneficial for you. Jaw surgeries correct both the bones and the bite. Your x-ray reveals that your upper and lower jaw bones as well as your teeth are in a good position. I hope this is helpful.

Based on these photos, it looks that you have large lower jaw and chin. This also applies to chin soft tissue. Reduction of the chin and soft tissue may help. Shaving of the bone or reverse genioplasty may be some options. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much for your pictures. In my opinion, to gain the maximum improvement you may need a lower jaw surgery, jaw angle implants and a sliding genioplasty. A sliding genioplasty alone will not totally give you the jaw, chin and neckline that you desire. I hope that this was helpful....
