I do not like the way my side profile is as I have a recessed chin. I was bullied in high school from it, my orthodontist only recommended an orthognathic surgery at the time (around 14 years old) - which my parents denied. I am now almost 25 years old and beyond self-conscious of my looks. Would a sliding genioplasty help bring my chin forward to look the most appealing? Would a chin implant work? Thank you.
