The cause of dented ala of left side seems to be buckling of lower lateral cartilage of left side, which is not rare among tip plasty complications.Because of buckling of lower lateral cartilage, outside of the alar looks dented and inside has a bulging (bump).Correction steps will be realignment of buckled lateral crus of lower lateral cartilage and stent graft with lateral crural onlay or strut graft using septal or ear cartilage.
