I had septorhinoplasty ove two years ago but was punched in the face not even a year post op. So I had poor healing, and a deviated septum. I went to ENT to get closed septoplasty where he used spacer grafts to open up my nasal valves. This made my nose WORSE. Going out of state for professional help, surgeon says he will use ear cartilage to restore my weak upper lateral cartilage and depressed right side of nose. Can revision bring back the cartilage on sides of my nose? Can I look normal agai

Hi @Creative7129. Thank you for sending your photos. This "growth" is either scar tissue formation or cartilage. An in person examination would be the best way to determine what is necessary. All the best, Dr. Nima!
In our experience, deep alar creases from rhinoplasty may be permanently softened with microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections. If you have no breathing issues, this may be a cost effective solution without downtime. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
Thank you for your question. In a closed approach, there is no incision on the columella. This area could be accessed to reduce scar tissue underneath with this approach. Depending if the skin itself has scar thickening, you may need an open approach to revise the scar properly. I hope this...
