I recently had a cosmetic rhinoplasty. I'm happy with everything except this pinching of nose. Can this be corrected through alar rim graft or batten graft ? Under local anaesthesia ? Please please reply

Thank you for your question. In a closed approach, there is no incision on the columella. This area could be accessed to reduce scar tissue underneath with this approach. Depending if the skin itself has scar thickening, you may need an open approach to revise the scar properly. I hope this...

In general it is ideal to wait at least 12 months before any revision surgery to allow full healing to occur. There may be a few exceptions to this, and this would be best determined by your rhinoplasty surgeon and your particular case.
