Question

Had bad wound breakdown last year and had scar revision with external only sutures. They were removed a week ago and I have these spots that aren't attached properly with ooz. No internal sutures were used due to my breakdown last time. Non smoker. This appeared as soon as the suture was taken out. And is getting worse. I am putting on antibiotic cream.

It is difficult to say for sure what caused this wound. That area may not have gotten adequate blood flow for whatever reason which caused that small area of skin separation. Despite what caused it, it will likely heal very well with daily wound care and dressings. If your surgeon recommended the antibiotic cream, that is a great way to treat a wound like this. Continue to follow recommendations from your surgeon to care for this wound and be sure to follow up in person for appointments to ensure this wound continues to heal well. Good luck!
