I got Juvederm done in my eyes 3 weeks ago. I just needed a small touch up, but he talked me into Juvederm vs Restylane which I now regret not doing the research on. I’m pretty sure I have it because I have a purple circle on my eye that wasn’t there before. I have heard you can get something to absorb the filler but I also heard it absorbs your natural hyaluronic acid? Is there anything else I can try? I am a bit sad because I feel like I wasted so much money only to be where I was before.

Answer: Fillers in the tear trough Both products, Restylane and Juvederm can result in the Tyndall effect or migration of the filler towards the nose underneath the eye. When that happens the patient needs to receive a series of injections of the product called hyaluronidase which will dissolve the hyaluronic acid. To avoid this problem I generally recommend that the patients have fat grafting into the tear trough and not the hyaluronic acid product. This creates permanent and natural results. Good luck from New York City

Answer: Follow up with your injector I would recommend following up with your injector. It's possible that there is still some bruising going on. It's also possible that you had some skin discoloration to start with. They most likely have before and after photos and can determine if it is in fact discoloration from the filler. If it is you, you can erase the filler with hylenex.
