Hello and thank you for your question. If your treatment was done recently, lumps and bumps can be caused by normal tissue swelling and/or bruising. If you are still experiencing this up to 2 weeks after your treatment I would go back and have your injector take a look at the area. Meanwhile, you can gently massage the area to see if you can improve it yourself. Luckily, Juvederm can easily be dissolved with hyaluronidase if the bumps do not resolve. Best of luck.
I'm not sure when you had your injections, but there can be some lumps and swelling for up to 2 weeks after fillers. Firm massage may give improvement. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.I hope this helps!
Hi there, if the area treated feels lumpy, you could consider massaging it, but ask your doctor of they recommend it, and if that isn't effective you could consider reducing that prominence with hyaluronidase injections.Hope that helps and best wishes, Dr. Donath
Thank you for your question! I would contact your treating physician if one side is a little lumpy and massage it gently until you return to the office. Juvederm is a fantastic treatment for the nasolabial fold and for the lower face as well. Best of luck!

You haven't provided us with any kind of photographs or the timeline as to when the treatment was performed. Best advice, contact your doctor and discuss this issue with them. Good luck from New York City
Juvederm, or any hyaluronic dermal filler, can form small lumps. By messaging firmly up and down the fold then this will help smooth it. However, the lumps could also be a little swelling or bruising as a result of the treatment settling. I always prefer the cannula technique of administering dermal filler as this creates a much smoother and autraumatic result. I hope this helps and have a great day. Dr Imogen White Swan Aesthetics
Thank you for your question! This could be due to placement or the initial swelling that is typical after lip injections, which will resolve in 1-2 weeks. I recommend following up with your injector. Best of luck!
Swelling can last anywhere from 1 to two weeks depending on your body reaction. If after the first few weeks your lips are still to big there is a reversal that can be injected.
Thank you for your question. It is common to have some asymmetrical swelling following fillers for lip augmentation which can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. You can apply cold compresses to the area to help reduce swelling. It is also advisable to avoid any NSAID’s before and after treatment a...
