Has my Juvederm lips filler been injected into a blood vessel?! (Photos)

Hello there. From the pictures you have sent there is no evidence of an intravascular injection. However, I would need to assess the skin around the lips to be sure. If in doubt see the surgeon who performed the filler injection as he/she will be able to determine what exactly is occurring. 

This appears to be a bruise which can be typical after lip fillers. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

Thank you for your question. From your photo, this appears to be a bruise which is common after lip augmentation. Typically, swelling and bruising can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. You can apply cold compresses to the treated area to help reduce swelling and bruising. It is also advisable to avoid any NSAID’s such as ibuprofen before and after treatment as they tend to thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising and swelling. thankyou for your question. When injecting into lips the bruising risk is high . I suspect that it has pierced a vein ( not uncommon) and you have had a good bleed.
 I would just touch base with your injector  more reassurance. It will settle . mean while try not to knock it as it may rebleed.
