Swelling can persist up to two weeks after lip injections.  In the meantime you can gently massage the area to help them smooth out.  If after two weeks you still have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.  The product can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if necessary.

This can be typical after lip fillers. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

Thank you for your question. It is common to have some asymmetrical swelling following fillers for lip augmentation which can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. You can apply cold compresses to the area to help reduce swelling. It is also advisable to avoid any NSAID’s before and after treatment as they tend to thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising and swelling.
