Breast augmentation, nerve regeneration causing burning pain. Need suggestions for ways to ease the pain

Nerve pain is very common after a procedure. A small dose of Gabapentin can be prescribed to help ease the nerves. However, please speak with your surgeon as he/she may different post op protocols to manage pain.Regards,

I am very sorry to hear that you're suffering from nipple hypersensitivity half-year breast augmentation.  Fortunately it will resolve with time usually a few weeks.  Vascular plastic surgeon for a prescription for Neurontin or gabapentin which may help reduce the pain.

Hi there, Thank you for your question, I am sorry to hear that you having some difficulties with pain control after surgery. Its not unusual for nerve related pain, called neuropathic pain, as small severed branches regenerate. Mostly, with small nerve branches such as these they settle and a treatment to bind over the time helps. These include anti-inflammatory medications, neural specific pain relief like gabapentin ( often second line treatment ) and of course biofeedback with touching and massaging the sites.
