I would like to increase the horizontal projection of my chin. I understand that Belafill can produce results that last for up to five years and I am wondering if Belafill would be a good option in my case. If so, how many syringes would i need to achieve my desired result and around how much would it cost? Thank you!
Answer: Chin augmentation The use of Bellafil for chin augmentation is a great option. In my experience with hundreds of cases like yours it gives permanent results with no complications. This is not an FDA approved indications but many things we do in medicine are out of the FDA indications. The filler should be placed deep into the mentalis muscle and not under the skin. I prefer to use cannulas to place it to avoid bruising and possible damage to blood vessels. In my opinion this is a much better option than chin implants. Good luck

Answer: Bellafill for chin augmentation Hello and thank you for your question. Bellafill is a great product for the skin. Will likely require more than 1 syringe to achieve optimal results. Since Bellafill is a stimulatory filler, it is best to augment your chin in stages often over a couple visits. Based on your pictures, you appear to be a good candidate for a chin implant, perhaps something to consider as a permanent correction to balance your chin profile.

Answer: Bellafill is perfect for the chin! Hello there,Thank you for your question. Bellafill is a wonderful option for augmenting the chin. I would really recommend a formal evaluation as unfortunately, your photos do not show enough information to give you an accurate amount of syringes needed. I like to inject over several sessions to ensure we achieve the optimal result so find a board-certified doctor who is experienced in Bellafill and injecting fillers. Hope this helps. All the best,Carlos Mata, MD, MBA, FACSBoard-Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Bellafill for chin augmentation Thank you for your question. Bellafill contains PMMA microspheres which provide a scaffold that supports your own natural collagen production as it develops over time. 83% of patients were still satisfied with their results 5 years after improvement. Bellafill is an excellent choice for chin augmentation and is the preferred method by most patients. Cost depends on how many syringes are required and the cost in your area. The treatment avoids the risks of chin implant surgery and can be performed over time for best results. Please consult a local board certified facial plastic surgeon for more information and a comprehensive consultation

Answer: Bellafill for chin augmentation Thank you for your question The approach that every physician uses is different based their training , experience. and needs of the patient. In my practice I use Bellafill for chin augmentation regularly. I have found it to be reliable for improving chin projection and balancing the chin with rest of the face. I would have to examine you to see what would best work for your face and discuss your goals. After we had this discussion I could over the options for chin augmentation. If we used Bellafill for the augmentation it would take several treatment sessions spread 6 to 8 weeks apart. In general the number of vials necessary would depend on the amount of augmentation that you wanted, but in most cases it is roughly 2-4 vials (usually 1 vial per treatment) depending on the person being treated. The number of vials that you would require would depend on multiple factors that I discuss with every patient at the time of their consult.
