I had good result from Ultherapy first year but now my skin on my neck is loose .. Not firm. No wrinkles but definitely fat loss.. I think more than just collagen gets destroyed with this procedure .. I'm 55 and 5 7 and 140 pounds so as I age I need the fat in the face to maintain fullness.. Can fat regenerate and if so how long does it take..
Answer: Facial harmony and Ultherapy Fat usually does not regenerate. I would consider complementing the Ultherapy with Sculptra to restore facial harmony. This works very well for patients. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

Answer: Fat Loss with Ultherapy... Hi Arilou,Thank you for your question and I appreciate you sharing your personal experience with Ultherapy. This is a question I frequently get in my practice and something patients fear when it comes to facial rejuvenation procedures. I agree with my peers that there is no evidence that fat loss occurs with this technology. That is not to say that the technology can be applied where fat cells can be damaged. Finding an office that is well trained with the technology and that uses either physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants to perform the procedures is essential. One of the huge benefits of this procedure is that the practitioner can see the layers of tissue being treated using the same ultrasound that will deliver the energy. This allows for a very focused treatment targeting the skin and underlying supportive fascia. In the face we call this fascia the SMAS. There are 3 different treatment depths, which fits most patients unique anatomy. An Ultherapy session involves at least 2 depths, which are chosen based on your skin and subcutaneous tissue thickness. Fat is not the target of the treatment, since there is no need for collagen regeneration in these tissues. The results of this technology are not equivalent to a facelift, but they are subtle and nice.Hope this helps you understand Ultherapy a little better.Take care!

Answer: Ultherapy and Fat Loss -- there IS NO EVIDENCE of fat loss or skin thinning There is absolutely no evidence that ultherapy causes fat loss. this may be your normal aging and needs to be treated again with lasers, sculptra, skin tightening and skin care. I suggest you post pictures to see what you are a candidate for. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Ultherapy provides focused ultrasound energy for #skintightening - #Ultherapy Williamsville, NY Thank you for your question. The benefit of this technology is that it is focused and there is visualization of the locus where energy is delivered, hence it's name, focused ultrasound. It is possible, that ultrasound energy dissipates and has potential to be delivered below the focused field but the likelihood is small. I have credentials in ultrasound devices (RVT and RPVI and RPhS) and I can tell you that the technology precludes delivery below the focused field.I have done Ultherapy since 2010 and believe in the technology as it has produced great outcomes for my patients.Read my ebook about Ultherapy on the link below. Answer: Does fat regenerate or once it is gone it is gone? As long as we are alive any body tissue can regenerate. Plus, as we age, our soft tissue sags, regardless of weight fluctuation.
