I am a 25 year old mother of 2 children 5’7 weighing around 145-150. I have a loose belly pooch that doesn’t go away with diet or exercise.

Thank you for your inquiry! By your photos, it looks like you would be a great candidate for an abdominoplasty to get rid of excess skin. The only difference in a mini vs a full abdominoplasty is how long the incision is. A mini tummy tuck is going to have a smaller incision than a full tummy tuck. Muscle repair, removal of excess skin, and liposuction are all included with both a mini and a full tummy tuck. Hello; you have fat and loose skin in your lower abdomen. If you do not have cracks in the skin; with Vaserlipo and Renuvion J plasma; both from your fat and from your lower abdomen; you can get rid of from your loose skin. Nevertheless, if you have cracks and your skin quality is bad; by Renuvion J Plasma; sufficient skin tightening will not be achieved. In this case, Vaserlipo and Mini Tummy Tuck will need to be implemented.

A mini tummy tuck will excise skin mostly from the lower half below the umbilicus. You may be a good candidate for this. However, some of your skin extends laterally and may not be included. You would be better off with a full tummy tuck but will have the bigger scar.

Is the area that you’re concerned about isolated to the area below your belly button? If yes, then a mini tummy tuck would be sufficient. However, if there is any bulging above your belly button as well, then a full tummy tuck would be more suitable.

It depends on your skin laxity for which I would need to examine you. In general, liposuction does not help with skin laxity and a tummy tuck is the best option in this scenario. A mini tummy tuck can work great for laxity below the umbilicus but generally does not improve the area above the belly button.

A mini tummy tuck would get rid of your "pooch" and can even tighten your abdominal wall in the area between your belly button and pubic region.  This would make a nice change for you, but it would not change the way your tummy looks in the area above your belly button.  If the area above your belly button doesn't bother you, then the mini will be fine.  But if you want the upper abdomen to be tighter too, then you would need a full tummy tuck.
