Hi @allisonxo! Hyaluronic dermal fillers like Restylane Defyne and Refyne will help to smoothen out your NLF. I would recommend starting with 1 syringe. Best of luck!
The question you ask is a good one. Some people, despite their age, do not like the presence of the nasolabial folds. This is a sign of aging, but it can also be a sign of hereditary factors. Ultimately the decision is yours. I would recommend a provider who is a facial specialist and uses a cannula for placement of product (better results, less pain and no bruising).Be healthy and be well,James M. Ridgway, MD, FACS
If you have folds at a young age there is no reason you cannot have fillers. However, you should be assessed to determine if contouring is needed such as cheek lifting to pull away from the folds. Direct injection into the folds if not done properly can be noticeable and unattractive. You want to go to someone who is conservative and will enhance your beautiful features. Best, Dr. Emer.
You are being too critical. You look normal so do NOT have anyone do anything to your pretty face!
You are beautiful and the folds that you have are part of normal facial anatomy. Look at little kids. Some of them have some folds too. Our society is making too many people that aren't broken think that they need to be fixed. Having a flat face is not natural looking. Enjoy and preserve your youth. Use sunscreen daily
Your nasolabial folds blend very well with the rest of your face. I would not do anything beyond taking good care of your skin especially with regard to protection from the sun.
your creases are well within what's expected for someone your age...nothing stands out as needing any sort of remedy...if you're uncomfortable with your appearance, talk with a reputable dermatologist or plastic surgeon...but your pictures don't really show any unusual situation that demands attention...you're quite lovely and don't really need any improvement...and remember when there's not a significant issue, there's a greater chance you'll be unhappy with the results
Hi @allisonxo! Dermal fillers can help soften the jowls. I also recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the...
Jawline contouring is an art and can be doing with fillers/fat, botox and skin tightening procedures such as thermage, ultherapy, or sublative. It is important to go to someone experienced in this. I wish you the best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for the question. Injectable biodegradable fillers are excellent solutions to volume loss in the temple and lower face (e.g. a gaunt or skeletal face). Injectable biodegradable fillers are placed more deeply in these areas rather than just under the skin. This...
