I am going to get a breast reduction this year and for the longest time I thought that it would and should be with the inner bra technique. Now, I came across a surgeon in Turkey, that I am considering, and he told me the technique is not ideal because the dermis may not be strong enough to hold everything and it may lead to deformations. What do you think?

Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: When to consider internal bra with breast reduction Internal bra usually means adding a layer of material such as Galaflex mesh under the skin to support the breast. It is most useful in cases where the breasts have sagged a lot due to stretching of the ligaments and thinning of the skin. Over about 12-15 months it dissolves and is replaced by your own tissue. The purpose is to maintain shape and upper pole fullness.
