Hi I'm currently a 36ff and I want to become a moderate size D (closer to a big C cup than small E cup). I'm 5'5 and weight 79kg right now. I'm on a little weight loss journey before surgery to get down to 75kg or less. Is this possible for me and can I see examples in photos of the result of a moderate D cup size and what size wold you recommend for my size? Also do I have gigantomastia? A dr simply looked at me via video and said that's what I have. How can he tell ? Thanks in advance.
Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast reduction Based on your photographs, you are a good candidate for breast reduction surgery and a moderate D cup would be achievable for you. Getting fit and as close to your desired weight as possible prior to surgery will improve your post-op results. A diagnosis of gigantomastia is made on the basis of a history of rapid growth of the breasts out of proportion to your frame, so it is difficult to be certain about this based on your photographs alone. Whether or not you have a diagnosis of gigantomastia, it is likely that breast reduction will provide significant benefits for you. I would advise you to seek a consultation with a reputable plastic surgeon with a practice focussing on plastic surgery of the breast.

Answer: Do I have gigantomastia? Dear cookieharibo, Thank you for your question and photos. It is difficult to tell for sure without an in-person consultation, but from looking at your photos and considering the information you provided, you may be a good candidate for a breast reduction surgery. This may help to reduce the size and weight of the breasts, while reducing the size and positioning of the nipples to a more youthful state. You may potentially lose half of your current breast size or more. It is difficult to promise a cup size that you may be left with after surgery, since different stores or brands may measure you as varying cup sizes. Gigantomastia usually refers to excessive breast growth. In your case, you may potentially consider a breast reduction surgery to reduce the size and weight of the breasts to a more proportionate size with your body habitus. Since you mention that you may be planning to lose weight, you may want to consider surgery once you have reached your goal weight and are stable at that weight for a few months, since you may potentially also lose volume in the breasts, as well. I suggest that at this current time, you schedule an in-person or virtual consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon, so that you may go over your specific goals, and to develop, together, a plan to best achieve them. Best of luck and stay safe!

Answer: #breastreduction for large droopy breasts with #PlasticSurgery You do appear to have large droopy breasts with large areolae, that are too big for your body frame. Gigantomastia can be a very loose term used by some to simply denote large breasts. You do have large breasts, but they are not usually large and can be effectively addressed by a breast reduction procedure. It would be best to reduce your weight to your target weight first before you contemplate on having surgery as results of the surgery can change if you lose weight after the surgery. It is hard to predict a precise cup size that the breasts can be reduced to safely during a breast reduction procedure. The best way to look at it would be to have breasts reduced to a size that suits the patient’s body frame and to take into account the patient's wishes to want to be as small as possible or to have smaller but fuller looking breasts. Your large areolae can be reduced to a smaller neater size at the same time and the position of the nipples elevated to where they belong! For optimal outcome, please consult a fully qualified plastic surgeon, who has specialist qualification in plastic surgery 'FRCS Plast' after having being trained adequately in the field of plastic surgery, is registered on the 'Specialist register for Plastic surgery' with the General Medical Council and has been considered competent enough to be a member of the 'BAPRAS' (British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) and 'BAAPS' (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) at the least.

Answer: Do I have gigantomastia? Hello, thank you for your question. Gigantomastia usually refers to someone with exceptionally large breasts. This is usually quite larger than a double D. Either way if your breasts are too large for you, then a reduction may be an option. I recommend you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Breast reduction From your photos it appears you would benefit from a breast reduction. This would remove excess tissue from your breasts as well as provide a lift. This will lessen the weight of the breasts and the pull on your neck and shoulders. Once you have reached your weight loss goals, schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you. You can discuss more specifics with regard to sizing options.
