She gives her heart and her hands!

As I look back to the day we met, I realize as I put myself in Dr. Burrell's hands, she gave me her heart. Mine was the unexpected breast cancer diagnosis at 69. Although, I humbly stand in the shadow of Stage 4 women fighting for their lives; the fact that I had what is called “the good kind” was no less terrifying or heartbreaking than the BRCA positive woman who decides to have a preventive double mastectomy. Best plastic surgeon I could have been blessed with.

I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer but due to the cancer spreading uncontrollably, I needed a mastectomy. I was devastated. It broke my heart to think that I wouldn't look like myself, but I needed it to live. I was initially seen by Dr. Spenler, who was an angel. He performed the first phase of my reconstruction. My Results Were Amazing!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a bilateral mastectomy. I endured chemotherapy and radiation, which effected my skin and tissue. I was quite skeptical about my reconstruction results. But with Dr. Burrell's expertise and undeniable talent, she made me feel whole again. Her entire staff was kind and went beyond the call of duty to make my experience bright inspite of my dark situation. I highly recommend Dr. Burrell, you will be in great hands!

Fantastic Surgeon

Dr. Burrell is an amazing surgeon. My journey with Breast Cancer started two long years ago. So when I was referred to Dr. Burrell, I was skeptical and hopeful at the same time. She helped me mentally and physically get through my final surgery and I am very thankful for her. I would highly recommend her and her staff. The results of my surgery was perfect.

Dr. Burrell is AWESOME!!!

"You have breast cancer"....."WHAT?!?!" That was almost a yr ago after a routine mammo...of course shocked since I had no symptoms or familial history. Thank goodness for Dr. Burrell, her team from the front office to the nurses are all wonderful and kind. All the reviews are spot on when it describes Dr. B. Amazing patient care

I had breast reconstruction with a DIEP flap procedure. Dr. Burrell was not only outstanding at surgery, but she was very patient and caring throughout. She always listened to my concerns and answered any questions without making me feel rushed. It was a long surgery for her and a long process, but I always felt that she put patient care first. My experience was outstanding

Dr Burrell, Was outstanding, I have always struggled with my breast size being 5"1 and 120 I was a 32FF and now I am proud to be a 32 C. Dr Burrell was kind and caring and had my best interest in mind she made this procedure as smooth as possible. For anyone who is unsure about this procedure should look into a consult with Dr. Burrell. I was nervous about the recovery process the day after my surgury I was up and moving and was able to return to my workouts and work shortly

15 days Post-Op

37 with No Kids

I have always been very thin with a small B. I definitely want kids and planned on getting this procedure done after, but once kids seem a few more years off, I thought why wait?! My surgery is scheduled in 2.5 week and I'm honestly getting super nervous. Truly caring and professional!

I'm extremely fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Burrell. She is graceful, professional and truly cares about her patients emotional well-being.
