Dear Vo n,determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hi, thank you for sharing your question. It is very tough to tell from this picture which procedure would benefit you. A consultation with your plastic surgeon would give you the best insight.
I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They then get to choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You can always get a lift later if you feel you are not perky enough when fully settled and healed. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Dear Vo n, thanks for sharing your concern and picture, In my opinion you will be benefit more from a breast augmentation with implants and lift with this you can ensure better shape and long term results. Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia
The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Your one angled and cut off photo does not show your breasts well. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon, being examined and measured, and discussing your options.
To vid the anchor lift scars you would need a larger implant size. Like450 cc-550cc ranges, fees $8,000. Best to virtual consult with....
Better photos with a straight on shot would help in more accurately answering your question. Form the one photos, it appears that you have very nice breasts now. They are a bit lower and that could be solved with a lollipop (not an anchor ) lift. IF you want them larger, then consider an implant to add volume.Dr. Taranow
Hello and thanks for your questions. In the picture that you sent, It can be clearly seen that you need to have breast uplift procedure to have the good result from the surgery. With breast uplift procedure, your nipples will be lifted and implant will enhance your breast size. Anchor lift is the most-preferred breast uplift technique in breast uplift procedure because its own ability to lift the breast. During the recovery period, I prescribe my patients special cream for scarring. The cream fasten the recovery process and the scar will be barely seen after the recovery is completed. I strongly suggest you the check doctor's before and after pictures to see the scarring of the anchor lift.
When patients have significant deflation and ptosis, it is best to perform the lift first followed by the augmentation. This allows for optimal improvement to breast shape and nipple position before the augmentation is performed. I would not recommend patients with significant ptosis undergo the...
You appear to have plenty of breast tissue, so I suggest just the lift. If you add implants, you add more weight and your stretched skin may stretch again and sag.
