650 - 450cc, breast made smaller/implant exchange disaster! Thoughts? (Photos)

Question

Hi. I had 650 CC implants in. I looked feminine but they were a bit too big and had sagged over time. I had them exchanged to 450 HP cc but they look terrible. Flat at side profile, no upper pole volume, square and even in clothes they make me look masculine. It's really affecting my confidence. I had them done in Turkey and they sewed something to my ribs. It's like they are stuck on and stuck down. It wasn't an internal bra or garlaflex.I am 6 months post op. Last pics are before

When I exchange implants and decrease in size this much, I always talk with the patient about a lift as well. The skin envelope needs to be made smaller, or it will be redundant and the implant won't fill it out as well as the previous one did. Of course this would require scars and some patients are unwilling to proceed with the lift for that reason.

I'm sorry you are unhappy with your implant exchange.  It's best for you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.  An exam is needed to determine what is recommended to get you closer to the results you are wanting.  Downsizing the implants can result in less upper pole fullness.  High profile implants are more narrow lower profile implants of equivalent volume.

Hello and thank you for your question and pictures.  First, I think that the results, at least from the pictures you sent are quite good.  Your concern with lack of upper pole fullness and projection is due to the significant decrease in size of the implant.  Yet the results are still great.  As for having something sewn to your ribs during your surgery in Turkey, this definitely has to be a question for your surgeon.  You should make an appointment to see your surgeon for response to this question and for your good post operative care.

You do not look masculine at all. I suspect, you are not happy with this size because of having the larger implants. You may have expected your breasts to look the same, just smaller, but that is not the case.  I still see tape so you are probably still early in your healing. Give yourself time to heal and let your tissue settle.  You may find that you actually like this size.
