Hi. It been nearly two years now. I have death on my mind. I am very worried I'm going to die or be in a coma during or after my breast implants removal with lift. What should I do?i never tried local anesthesia but only general anesthesia before. Are these the same? Can I die especially when I have alcoholic liver damage! And smoke too? (Since February 2023) . Please yes or no answer with good simple English explanation thanks.
Answer: Surgery Since you have asked multiple times about dying from surgery, don't have surgery. You do not have to undergo elective surgery. You are not mentally prepared for any elective surgery.

Answer: Local anesthesia Hello, thank you for your question. This must be a scary concern for you. Please see the attached video to answer your question specifically. It is unlikely to die. Local anesthesia is when only a specific area is numbed and you stay awake. Both are safe when manage by trained professionals. To reduce risk, stop smoking, limit alcohol, and discuss all health issues with your surgeon and anesthesia provider before surgery. They can adjust the plan for your safety.

Answer: Risk General anesthesia is where you are "asleep" during surgery. Local anesthesia will only numb the area that is being operated on. You will be aware of what is occurring. You would still feel pressure or tugging but would not feel sharp pain. Typically implant removal with a lift is performed under general anesthesia for your comfort and safety. You should discuss your health history with your surgeon to determine if you are a good candidate. You will definitely need to stop all nicotine several weeks prior to surgery as well as during at least a portion of your recovery.

Answer: Can you die from local anesthesia? Hello @TokiyoC, thank you for your question. Liver damage can affect the way the body metabolizes and eliminates anesthesia medications. Local anesthesia is generally considered safe, but in some cases, it may not be recommended for patients with liver damage. The use anesthesia in patients must be evaluated on an individual basis, taking into account his or her health. It's important to have a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon and clearance from your primary care physician to establish a surgical plan that is safe and tailored to your individual needs. Answer: Suggest medical clearance Your gastroenterologist will need to clear you for surgery. Poor liver function can have detrimental effects on blood coagulation and anesthesia. You can have the implants removed under local anesthesia also. Regardless, You should have a board-certified plastic surgeon examine you for further recommendations.
