I don't want a breast lift because of scarring, am I good fit for fat transfer to breast? (Photos)

Question

I understand that breast fat transfers are typically for women with smaller breast. Despite having large breast I don't find them aesthetically appealing. I don't mind having larger areola and a slight sag but I would prefer if my upper pole region was more supple . It also bothers me that areola is completely at the base of my breast . I wish my breast had a more rounded shape vs being oblong. I DO NOT want a breast lift bc of scarring and the nipple/areola repositioning doesn't look natural.

Thank you for your query. Fat transfer can certainly be done to improve the upper part of your breasts. In your situation I  combine it with a non surgical skin tightening procedure like Themi Breast which gives some lift and reduces the areola without scars. fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. Fat transfer will only add volume to your already large breasts.  In my opinion a breast lift or reduction would be the preferred procedure.  While there is scarring, this can be managed.

I understand your concerns with regards to the breast lift scars , unfortunately fat grafting does not necessarily add any structure to the breast , it will add volume which might contribute to future sag, in your case the best option to lift the breast remains a breast lift, there are different ways of doing a breast lift , each has a different scar burden and different trade offs with each , I would encourage you to discuss your options with a plastic surgeon so that you can come up with a plan that will work for you .I hope this helps, best of luck!

Many women refuse breast lifts because of the vertical scars associated with the traditional techniques. For that reason, an alternative was developed called The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief and long term stability. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. The areolas can be reduced to the size you desire.

No, the fat transfer will not do much for you except to give you larger and still sagging breasts. Only the lift will correct sagging. You could try Renuvion skin tightening with tiny incisions to get some improvement in the sag, but the lift is really needed.  You have plenty of volume.

I think you have already pointed out you are not interested in a lift because of the associated scars and that's pretty common. We see it with patients with excess tummy skin as well that prefer just to have liposuction.

In your situation though I don't really see any benefit to fat grafting to your breasts as I fear it will just make your breasts larger and more saggy and I don't think that would make you happy. I think you would be better off just staying put where you are.
