Am I a candidate for a breast fat transfer? I suffer from fat accumulation in the abdominal area, along with small breast size. My weight is 61 kg, and my height is 158 cm. I would like to know if it is possible in my case to transfer fat from the abdomen and thighs to the breasts. If this is feasible, how many grams can approximately be injected into the breasts in my case? Is it possible to inject 600 grams into each breast? Would the amount of fat and breast tissue allow for this? If not, what is the approximate amount that can be inject

Answer: Fat grafting You can definitely fat graft but not 600 grams per side. More in the order of 200 gms per side. The excess fat grafted will likely not survive and result in either fat necrosis or dissolve.

Answer: Fat transfers Unfortunately, you have not told us your bra size. If you are size 32 or 34, each 100 cc of fat corresponds to 1 cup size change. If you are size 36 or 38, each 200 cc of fat corresponds to 1 cup size change. However, not all of the fat survives so you would need 150 cc transferred for 100 cc of fat to survive if you are size 32 or 34. If you are size 36 or 38, you would need 250 cc transferred for 200 cc of fat to survive. 600 cc of fat transferred is not realistic. Your breasts are asymmetrical and the nipple-areola complexes are pointing outward. I recommend a simultaneous circumareola lift to reposition the nipple-areola complex and transfers more fat to the smaller breast to make it more symmetrical. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
