After saving up, I want to get a breast augmentation during my spring break next year. I have a week off of school but is this enough time to resume daily school activities when I'm back? When I come back to school I would have to carry a backpack and bike to class every day. Thank you in advance.

Answer: Healing time after a breast augmentation You should be able to do quite well after a week of healing after breast augmentation. The more active you are, the more sore you will be, but this usually wouldn't threaten good results. Ask your plastic surgeon about how they like to manage their patients after breast augmentation.

Answer: Recovery Most patients are feeling good after about a week from surgery. However you will likely have lifting restrictions in place. Typically lifting is limited to 10 pounds or less for 4-6 weeks from surgery, so lifting a heavy backpack would need to wait a bit. Resuming exercise should be done gradually and approved by your surgeon as you heal.
