What can I do about a sore back and ribs after breast surgery?

Question

After breast surgery I was experiencing really bad back & rib pain within 5 minutes of standing up or sitting up. I am now 4 weeks post op and am still experiencing extensive back pain when I stand or sit up straight for more than 15 minutes.I have asked my surgeon a few backs and he said it's normal but I believe otherwise. My surgery was done different country so it's not possible for me to go back for a check up. Any advise?

It is best that you visit a board certified plastic surgeon near you to have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

It is hard to say what could be causing your back pain without knowing what other medical conditions may be contributing to your symptoms. I would recommend you follow up with a primary care doctor to make sure this is not being caused by something other than your breast implants.
