Im 32 years old and I had a lower blepharoplasty because I had bag under my eyes since I was younger. The problem is that after it heeled, it's been already 7 months since the surgery, when I smile it looks like I have wrinkle or crepey eyes, which I didn't have it before. My doctor says I can't have another surgery because there's no more skin left to take. What could be my options?
Answer: Lower eyelids A series of Fraxel laser treatments in combination with a good skin care routine will help to treat crepey skin. A series of Fraxel treatments, usually about 4-5 treatments, should be spaced about 4-6 weeks apart to allow for proper collagen remodeling. Collagen remodeling is the key to tightening skin laxity and by doing so will soften unwanted fine lines and wrinkles. Patients will achieve their optimal results about 4-6 months after the last Fraxel laser treatment.
