Thank you for your question.  Wait times between surgeons often depending on their OR availability.  Surgeons who have long wait times for consultation and/or surgeries are dependent on fixed hospital resources or rent surgical space from others.  Plastic Surgeons with their own surgical facilities have the flexibility to create more OR time by patient demand and can often accommodate patients' timelines.  @yorkplasticsurgery

Scheduling really depends on the individual surgeon. Some surgeons may be able to accommodate your preferred date while others may not be as flexible because of their schedule. I suggest discussing your situation with your surgeon to see if they can accommodate you.

smcfarla5345.  Since mommy makeover surgery is cosmetic, I assume it is not covered by Canada’s national health insurance. For that reason, there should be a little lag time from your consultation to Surgery since you are paying out of pocket. Be certain to consult with the board certified plastic surgeon in your area. The time between a consultation and surgery varies based on the surgeon's schedule.  Depending on the length of the surgery, it is sometimes dependent on the surgery center/hospital schedule as well.  Shorter procedures are often easier to schedule quickly.  You may wish to ask your surgeon's staff about availability before your consultation so you have an idea.

This really depends on the surgeons schedule. How busy he is. If they can get you in due to a cancellation. I would be hesitan5 if a surgeon can do your surgery the next week. Get another consult also to be sure.
