I have a flat venous lake on my bottom lip. It doesn't hurt and never had problem with it. I really want my lips more symmetrical. Is it dangerous for me to have fillers with the venous lake. It's quite small.
Answer: Venous Lake and Lip Filler Thank you for your question, Mamamia2016!Yes, you can still get lip fillers! However, it is important to see an experienced injector as they need to take extra care in the area of the venous lake. It is important not to inject directly into that area or cause excessive bleeding or bruising there. Best of luck!

Answer: Venous lake Hello and thank you for your question. Yes this wouldn't be a problem but there is a chance this could create a large bruise if the injector catches it. This would be easily treated with laser if this interests you. Please seek a face to face consultation with a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes

Answer: Filler and Venous Lake It appears you have a venous lake although it is difficult to confirm this diagnosis by photo. I would recommend a consult with a dermatologist to confirm that it is truly a venous lake. If it is confirmed to be a venous lake lip filler can still be performed although more caution would be needed in this focal area to avoid bleeding and bruising. If the venous lake bothers you, I would suggest laser treatment which is usually very successful. I would recommend evaluation by a board certified dermatologist to assess the venous lake and discuss lip filler. Best wishes.
