Can Dysport cause anxiety and leg pain? Any other harmful symptoms? (photo)

I don't believe your 20 units of Dysport are the cause of your symptoms. Instead, I think you are having anxiety because you're reading worse case scenarios online about your recent treatments. Your dose is 1/3 the normal dose I use in the same area and Dysport is not going to move through your body and cause leg pains.Seek the advice of an appropriate medical professional for your anxiety.Good luck, Dr. ALDO :)

These symptoms you describe are definitely unrelated. There is a small risk of Dysport spreading very slightly to other areas of the face following injections (the reason why patients are asked not to lean over, lie down or exercise after treatment) however there is no risk of it spreading to other parts of your body.

Treatment with Dysport will not give you those side effects. I would consult with your primary physician regarding those symptoms.

Dysport injection is an safe and effective treatment for frown lines. 20 units its a low dose for the frown lines though. I usually inject 50-60 units of Dysport for frown lines. I do not believe your anxiety and leg pains are related to the Dysport injection and I recommend you see your primary care physician to discuss your symptoms.

If you are having leg pains, it is definitely not associated with Dysport injections in the upper face.  And if you are having anxiety, it is also not from the Dysport.  All medicines have the potential for adverse things happening, even aspirin and the like – read their labels and you would be surprised.  As Dr. Weiner pointed out, the dose given to you is really low for Dysport, so if you are having any anxiety – it may be that you may need more later if this was not enough to correct the problem.  But you are fine as far as the injections are concerned that you had.

I don't think that the Dysport is the cause of this. I would search for other reasons for this. 20 units is also a very low dose for treating the glabella area. I usually use 50-60 units in this area. I wouldn't worry about spread of the Dsyport to the legs.
