I have always been a bit self conscious of my profile view, largely because my bottom lip protrudes too far out from my face and gives me a "fish pout" appearance. I'm looking at the least invasive solutions so lip reduction is not something I'm interested in. I have seen others with the same issue been advised to get fillers in the top lip to achieve a more balance look. Would I be a good candidate for this?
Answer: Lip fillers may be a great option for you! If you're self-conscious about your profile view due to your bottom lip protruding too far out from your face, lip fillers could be a good option for you to consider. Lip fillers can help to balance out your lips and give you a more proportionate appearance, without the need for invasive surgery. In your case, it's possible that getting fillers in your top lip could help to create a more balanced look. By adding volume to the upper lip, it can create a more harmonious and proportionate appearance with the lower lip. However, it's important to have realistic expectations about the results of lip fillers. While they can certainly enhance the appearance of your lips, they may not be able to completely correct any underlying structural issues. Your dermatologist will be able to assess your individual case and provide you with a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific concerns. Additionally, it's important to choose a skilled and experienced provider for your lip fillers. The injection technique is crucial to achieving natural-looking results, and a qualified provider will be able to customize the treatment to your unique features. Overall, if you're looking for a non-invasive solution to balance out your lips and achieve a more proportionate appearance, lip fillers could be a great option for you to consider. Schedule a consultation with a qualified dermatologist to discuss your options and determine if you're a good candidate for the treatment.

Answer: Lip Augmentation Candidate -- Injectable Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), Fat Grafting to Lips, NovaThreads for Lift I would highly recommend getting a formal evaluation with and treatment from a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and expert in facial sculpting. Technique is the key to a successful lip augmentation with fillers, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. An experienced physician will be able to determine which filler, how much filler, and which technique will give you the subtle result you're looking for. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Lower Lip reduction Unfortunately, without reducing the size and protrusion of lower lip, you can not expect good result and symmetry. Scar is well hidden inside the lower lip and there is no other signs of surgery. Augmentation of upper lip in this context would not make much of a sense. Good luck.

Answer: Even out lips with filler. Adding a little filler to you upper lip, I believe would create better balance and help with the side profile. I would suggest adding a little volume to the cupids bow as well as the body of the upper lip.

Answer: Lip balance Hello, and thank you for your inquiry! Yes, I think that adding a little filler to your top lip would make your lips more proportionate. I also think that you would benefit greatly from chin filler. Adding filler to your chin would balance your chin/lips/nose ratio. Good luck on your journey!
