I got an otoplasty a little over two months ago. I want to start wrestling again as soon as possible. I would be wearing headgear during practice, as well as during matches, which covers the ears completely. Is there still risk of breaking the sutures even with headgear? And could additional precautions like taping my ears back under the headgear help eliminate whatever risk there is? I have obviously already asked my surgeon about this but want additional oppinions. Thanks!
