Loved how I was treated at the Waldorf Center! Dr. Zarella is wonderful, and did a beautiful job! I would not hesitate to recommend him! He did some all-over lipo (body contouring) and filled in a few areas on my face, as well as plumping my lips. I did not want them over-filled, and the results are perfect! Thank you, Dr. Zarella!
I love Dr. Zarrela! I really enjoy my visits because he is so personable and down to earth. He really makes me feel comfortable and he is very professional and great at what he does. I appreciate how he makes suggestions in my best interest.
Dr. Zarella is the best! He's allows me to feel confident in asking for what I want and does a great job walking me through everything. I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Zarella. I know he has my best interest at heart - he wants me to leave happy with my treatment, experience, and that I get the best bang for my buck. He's so friendly and personable - it always feels like I'm catching up with a friend.
Dr. Zarella was very supportive and willing to work with me to create a comprehensive and reasonable surgery plan. Ater MOHS surgery in 2012, I was left with nasal scarring and asymmetry despite 3 subsequent debulking and 1 rhinoplasty surgeries. Dr. Zarella performed surgery to raise my nostril and reduce scarring in November. I'm so pleased with the results. My nose looks and functions much better.
He's wonderful! I have dealt with Dr. Kathleen Waldorf for my "correction" needs since 1998 or 1999. When I was unable to match up schedules with her for my liposuction (abdominal), I was told that Dr. Zarella had joined the practice and after meeting with him, was confident that if she invited him to practice with her, he had to be great! I was not disappointed. My recovery from the procedure he did was swift and without pain for the most part. "I'd call it "discomfort".) After all, he did remove about 1.5 litres of accumulated fat. It's now been 6 weeks and the results are wonderful. Dr. Zarella is competent, sincere and truly cares about his patient. I am of an age where I can see compassion and enthusiasm for his work and recognize it as a true calling. You wouldn't be disappointed from your first consult -to his attentiveness pre-surgery and recovery. And.... he's friendly :)
Good recommendations, injectables treatments are well performed with care, professional and perfect to my needs. Very happy with results. He has very good bedside manners and shows he cares for your treatments.
Dr Zarella is amazing ! He is everythin you when you're looking for a plastic surgeon. He is brilliant. efficient, compassionate, understanding, and the list goes on. He listens to what your wants & needs are. To me is very important as a patient.
Hey all... So, I just want to share my experience with BR recently made. My breasts began to grow when I was 8 years old. Today I am 25, have no children, 140 pounds, 5'2. My breasts was 36DD and super fallen, making feel lots of pain and also a extremely lack of self-esteem! I always felt horrible back pain, shoulder and neck, did several treatments, but never any helped ease the pain. Then finally in January this year I started the process for breast reduction. Documentations were sent to the insurance, after one month I received the answer, saying that it had been approved and that they would cover 90% of the costs and I would be responsible for 10% + $500 ded. Great, let's do it! February 29 surgery happened, my plastic surgeon and his team did a wonderful job, the procedure took about 3hs. 1 pound each breast were removed (420 grams), went home at the same day, after waking from anesthesia. Did not take any antibiotics, no drain... I only toke the pain medication for the first 3 days, then I changed to Iboprofen, kept moving my arms, walking slowly around the house, bathing usually (slow)... Which was wonderful not to be "dependent" of others! My procedure was not the famous inverted "T", was only an "I" and around the nipples. And since from the first day of the surgery, I keep having sensitivity in the nipples! Today I am on the 8th post-op, already driving, doing minor things, no heavy lifting and no heavy housework, all very moderate and done carefully! Had already couple Mojitos yesterday celebrating my husband Bthday, no sex yet (my doctor said to feel safe, only after 4 weeks), no workout for at least 4 weeks, which is fine for me... I mean, life slowly getting back to normal! Of course, I'm still a little swollen, a little sore, still taking Iboprofen, am careful always to everything be all right, after all, It's my health! Of course, the breasts still are adjusting the way it has to be, of course the breasts usually unswollen in different ways, I feel sometimes one more swollen than the other, less swollen than the other, will take couple weeks to settle down... Anyways, but it is normal, after all, this is a kind of process that requires time, patience and "gravity!" :) It's tiring? IT IS! It is stressful? IT IS! It is slow? Vey Much! But I believe that even being an extremely slow process, we know very well how difficult it is to have large breasts, and we know the pain we feel to carry it... So, all the effort is worth it, in my opinion! So that's my story, I hope it all works out for you all!
Dr. Zarella was like an artist at work. He studied my face, and knew exactly what to do to fulfill my needs and request for my face. He took his time, and was really great for all the attention that he gave me. The WLdorf a center has been a real find. mY monthly facials with Janice Cunningham also was been the greatest. This is a very good question. Secondary facelifts are more common than you think. I would recommend seeing your surgeon, or another board certified plastic surgeon for revision. If you liked the look when there was swelling, you may want to just consider some fat grafting to the face, that would add some volume, yet not have the invasiveness of a secondary lift so soon after your initial operation. Nonetheless, a secondary lift can involve skin only, or it can combine this with tightening of the under layers as well. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question, and for posting pictures! Based on your photo, that appears to be a stitch in the incision line. If it is a dissolving suture, it should go away soon enough. Based on the location, it does not appear that it is likely that it is one of the sutures used to reshape the ear (if your surgeon did such a technique). Regardless, it is best to see your surgeon with questions like this. But again, it appears that this is a simple one. Sometimes the body pushes the absorbable sutures out of the skin before they have completely absorbed, and that would be my guess as to what is happening here, based on the picture.
I would caution you severely from returning to wrestling so soon after otoplasty. With a contact sport like wrestling, there is risk not only of pulling on the ear and tearing stitches, but also, of trauma to the ear from impact, which could cause a hematoma. I would recommend following your specific surgeon's advice regarding return to contact sports. In my practice, the wait time for that is several months. I understand wanting to get back to your regular life, but, also, if you went through the trouble to have the surgery, you want the best results you can have. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question. There are a few ways to do male breast reduction surgery. Typically if there is a mix of glad and fatty excess, the treatment is direct excision of the gland, and liposuction for the fat. When taking the gland excess, a disk of gland tissue should be left behind to avoid a depressed nipple / areolar complex. If you plan on going ahead with surgery, I would advise making sure you see a surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and who is familiar with this operation. Best of luck!
Thank you for posting photos with your question! While on the pictures it appears that you have some fullness in the chest, without a physical exam, it is hard to say what the exact problem is. I would advise seeing your doctor regarding this. Gynecomastia is actual male breast tissue that causes a protrusion, where as pseudo-gynecomastia is just excess fat deposit. If you desired surgical correction of this, the diagnosis is important to know how best to do the surgery. If you opt for surgery, I would recommend seeing a surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Best of luck!
