Breastfed for almost 2 years. Some doctor have said I can get away with just implants since I'm borderline. Main concern is the space between my breasts and want to fill out flat upper pole. I don't mind my nipple placement. I would like to avoid lift due to scars and possibly another pregnancy in future. Would I be able to get away with just implants? And are 350cc implants too big for a 5 ft and 100 lb person?
Answer: Breast augmentation with implants Implants will improve your cleavage and upper pole fullness. I recommend using silicone implants placed under the muscle through a small breast crease incision. You don't have to have a lift, and should you want to get one later on, that is always a possibility to do a lift over the implants. I hope this helps.

Answer: Size You would probably do well with an augmentation with 350 cc's implants. I would suggest trying on that size if you have not done so already. You do have a slight difference in the placement of your nipples, and will have this after surgery with no lift.

Answer: To Lift or Not To Lift? Good afternoon! You can absolutely avoid a lift, fill in the gap, get better upper pole fullness, and 350cc is definitely not too big for your frame!

Answer: Borderline Lift? Hello,It appears that you have a bit of "pseudo-ptosis" which means that your nipple placement is lower, but does not 100% require a lift. Placing implants behind the muscle will help keep them in a perkier position on the chest wall. There are different widths (or profiles) of implants offered, it is best to discuss these options with your surgeon to see which will allow the most filling out of the medial portion of your breast. It appears that your breast bone is wider, this appearance can improve with implants but implants cannot be placed over this area so there is a degree of limitation with that. If there is some chance of pregnancy in the future it may be best to wait on a lift so that scarring is minimal and the ability to breastfeed again is available. A lift can always be done several years down the road if you are seeking perkier, younger looking breasts. Due to some laxity in your breasts from breast feeding, I do not think 350cc is out of the question for you to achieve fuller looking breasts. Best of luck!Dr. Christine Rodgers

Answer: Do I need a breast lift? You might not need one. I recommend an in person evaluation by a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You can always get a lift later if you feel you are not perky enough when fully settled and healed. Answer: Breast Augmentation Is Possible But, Know The Possibilities You appear to have Grade II ptosis which is our fancy way of saying borderline drooping. With moderately large implants and a dual-plane technique you should get a good result using high profile silicone or extra-high profile silicone gel implants. The incisions could either be inframammary or periareolar. That's the good news, and for someone who wants to avoid a lift and "doesn't mind" placement being a little low, it usually works out fine. Contrary to what many of the other doctors have said, I do not think you will be able to completely correct your flat upper pole, since the implants will sit relatively low. This is not necessarily bad if you are aware and okay with that appearance. On the other hand if you truly want excellent correction of the upper pole and implants that don't sit relatively low, I would consider a breast lift. You should make certain to observe the difference on Vectra 3D imaging which can show the changes with specific implant styles and sizes on a three dimensional image of your chest. It's a great way to help make this difficult decision.
