Hello, so I have been trying to get a bigger breast for years, I had no breast, first time I got 180cc, second surgery I got 350 cc and third I got 550cc. Now I want to go bigger since that is the look I want to achieve. I am now on the 550 and still think they are medium. I am 106 pounds 5'3. The first three pics is me now and the last two is my desire. I want to go to 800cc
Answer: Implants replacement: 550cc to 800cc... Is this achievable? Hello and thank your for posting with photos. The answer is yes. Hard to say if that is an appropriate size for your without an in person evaluation, but you can certainly go bigger if you wish. Please keep in mind that an 800cc implant is very large. The larger you go the heavier they will be. This might be an issue on your back years to come. Implant weight is one of the factors related to ptosis. Meaning, the bigger they are the faster they might fall. Your stretch marks might also get worse if you go bigger. Plus, if you ever decide to go back to smaller implants, your will need extra scars to tighten the skin and lift your breasts. As long as you understand the pros and cons of going much bigger, I believe there is no problem with achieving your goal.Best of luck,Dr. Miguel Mota

Answer: Your implant goal might be achievable. I recommend an in person evaluation by a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size breast implant is right for them. Answer: My recommendation Hello dear! Thank you for your question and provided information as well.. Based on your photos, it seems that you have symmetrical and beautiful breasts for which you wish to add more volume. There are many ways that plastic surgeons perform measurements in order to determine which breast implant size, style and shape will best suit your goals. It is important that you communicate to your board-certified plastic surgeon what are expecting, to make certain that your goals are realistic. It's helpful to show pictures of results you'd like, but please keep in mind that these are other people and your body is different from everybody. In my office, we use a method of sizing with silicone gel forms of known volumes. This is proven to be a very accurate means of determining what size will might be of additional interest to you as well. After saying all this, I think you could go 800cc with no problem, but keep in mind that the size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia.

Answer: Implants replacement to 800cc achievable? Thank you for your pictures and questions. The question of whether or not this is achievable depends on your anatomy and exam. If the base diameter of your breast does not allow for placement of such a large implant (~15.5 cm in diameter), then you are asking for trouble. I personally think that the photos in your "goal" pictures are patients where they have exceeded that rule and although they may be fine now, I can assure you they are going to have significant problems in the very near future and are going to need revision surgery in the next 3-5 years. Your photos already show some signs of skin envelope laxity and stretching of the lower pole (early pseudoptosis) and increasing the implant size is going to result in an increase in that. If you do proceed with revision surgery and increase size to 800 cc, you need to make sure you understand that this is going to increase the changes of problems (symmastia, etc.) and also going to likely lead to an early re-operation for revision. If you are accepting of that, then you can consider proceeding. If you do, I would certainly recommend soft tissue support of an implant that large with Galaflex mesh. Make sure you discuss this option with your plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Hope this helps!Dallas R.
