I am getting my implants removed en bloc. Would other doctors recommend areola adjustment?

An in person evaluation is needed to determine if a lift of any degree is recommended for you after implant removal. It is common for patients to elect to have the breasts lifted at the same time as implant removal. This allows for one trip to the operating room as well as a single recovery period.

Hello @81818181, thank you for your question. Everything depends on the surgical technique of the plastic surgeon. Personally I suggest that you have a breast reconstruction right after explantation to reconfigure the tissue, to lift it and give it a good shape as well to reduce the size of the areolas. it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

First, en bloc surgery is for cancer surgery only and not the removal of capsules. Second, you did not post photos, so I cannot be specific about your breasts and what skin should be removed. I am not certain what you mean by "nipple adjustment" but I assume you mean a lift. Measurements are needed to see if a lift should be done, and an examination is needed to see if it can be done at the same time or later.
