3+ Years Post Rhinoplasty – New Dorsal Indent, Tip Swelling, and Profile isn’t straigt. What Are My Options? (Photos)
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some insight and would really appreciate any feedback. I’m currently a little over 3 years post-rhinoplasty. The first photo is around 1 year post-op and the second is current (3+ years). Over time, I’ve noticed some changes that concern me: - I now have a noticeable indent along the bridge (dorsal area) that wasn’t there before - My nose appears more upturned than it used to, especially from the side (I’m assuming maybe since above it is indented and there is some swelling in tip??) - My side profile doesn’t look straight anymore - When I squeeze on sides of indent on dorsal it makes a squeaking clicking noise - The tip of my nose seems swollen, mostly on the sides, which makes it look more bulbous than before I’m confused because I thought everything would be fully settled by now but it almost feels like things have changed or worsened over time. My main questions: - What could cause these kinds of changes this far out from surgery? - Could this be structural (like cartilage shifting or loss of support)? - Would this be considered something like a mild saddle nose deformity? - Are non-surgical options like steroid injections for swelling or filler an option? - Is this something to be worried about? - Or would this likely require revision surgery to correct? I’m just trying to understand what I’m dealing with and what direction to go as I unfortunately can’t afford a revision. Thanks in advance for any advice or experienc
