Hello, I has saline implants 9 years ago. Going in next week to have them redone. Originally I had 325 high profile mentors put in. I've had 2 kids and want to fill my skin back up again. Would 500cc be to big? I am 30 years old 5'2'' 118lbs.
Answer: Depends on your goals Really depends on your goal size. Going 175cc will make you about a cup size bigger. You have beautiful breasts now so you will just have bigger beautiful breasts.Best Wishes,Nana Mizuguchi, MD

Answer: Will 500cc's be too big (revisionary breast surgery)? Thank you for the question and pictures. Online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful. Keep in mind as you are thinking about your goals that sometimes adjustment of the breast implant pockets (capsule adjustments) may be necessary to achieve the outcome you are looking for. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "up a cup size” or "fill my skin up" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your chosen plastic surgeon to work with you in determining the best plan to achieve your goals. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to revisionary breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: You should size at your surgeon's office using external sizers and if he doesn't have them, make a rice sizer using 3/4 cup of rice and that would produce a sizer 180 cc in size and get close to what you are desiring. Take the memory out of the stocking using a book to smash it overnight and with an unlined bra, place it into the pocket on your intact side and see if you like that look. If so, you will be fine with your choice and your surgeon should pick the appropriate profile for your dimensions.

Answer: Breast Re-Augmentation Thanks for your question and photos. It appears you have a nice result after your saline implants. I cannot recommend an implant size based on your photos. Selecting a size for your new implants depends in part on results of an in-person exam as well as your cosmetic goals. See a plastic surgeon who is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and good luck!
