Dr Matoki did my original original saline implants back in 2007. I was in need of a lift & decided to go up in size a bit & change to cylicone. I had minimal pain. Hardly any bleeding & just a small amount of bruising. I was a other scared of the stitching appearance around the nipple but also very pleased he only did a small lollipop cut & not the full anchor like most surgeons & my friends have had. Once the stitches dissolved & they healed, two months later now & there is no visible scar around the nuke & only the faint one down the bottom center. I absolutely love them & so happy I did it with the lift! Week with the small scar & price. I have sent many friends & sending more to Dr Matoki because they always ask because they look so great & natural. I will continue to go to Dr Matoki as long as I can until he retires for any procedure. I trust him fully.
Dr. Motoki is an excellent surgeon. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He helped me chose the perfect size of implants for my body. Bonnie his nurse made me feel so comfortable and is was helpful and nice!!! He answered all of my questions and concerns making me feel at peace. I had a great experience and could not be any more pleased with my decision to go to Dr. Motoki.
Once we were finished having the kids (4 of them, icluding now 2 year old twins!) I really was ready to revive my 'mommy boobs' . I actually had met with Dr. Motoki after I finished nursing my second child, but ended up getting pregnant with the twins (a happy, but completely unexpected surprise). In hindsight I'm glad that I waited these three years because I actually chose a smaller and different profile implant than what I was set upon having before I had the twins. I ended up chosing moderate plus profile 350 cc implants which are so natural looking and are perfect for my lifestyle. If anyone is looking for a GREAT plastic surgeon in Utah, I highly recommend Dr. Motoki. He is such a talented doctor and has done surgery on several of my friends who all look just as amazing as I now do! His nurse Bonnie is simply the BEST! She is so knowledgeable and helpful and incredibly sweet! If you have been thinking about getting implants, just go for it! You'll be so glad that you did! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my results and am so happy with my entire experience!
I am totally amazed by my looks I wouldn't change anything besides getting my procedures done sooner. My life has changed in the most positive way more then I could imagine. Dr. Motoki is very skilled at what he dose and the prices are very reasonable. I would put my life in his hands any day. He helps put the puzzle together :)
I always knew I'd be getting my breasts "fixed" after we were done having kids, but my husband kept telling me he thought I looked great just the way I was. Well, finally after another frustrating summer of being so embarrassed of the way I looked in a swimming suit to the point of not even wanting to go on a much anticipated 10 year anniversary cruise, I finally decided enough was enough! My wonderful husband was so concerned about making sure we chose the best plastic surgeon...he fortunatelyi works in the medical field and has a lot of contacts, so he discretely began putting feelers out there to find out who we should consult with. Two names kept coming up over and over again, and interstingly both of the doctors worked in the same office building, just doors apart from each other. I was so excited to finally think my long awaited dream was about to come true. My husband and I went to the consultations and actually it was a little bit hard to choose between the doctors, they were both so nice and thorough and I felt like I couldn't go wrong with either one of them, but I guess the thing that really helped me decide to choose Dr. Motoki was his amazing nurse, Bonnie! She has so much helpful insight and NEVER tired of my phone calls and emails, whereas I got the impression that because I didn't immediately sign up for surgery with the other doctor they didn't really want to be bothered. I've learned long ago that I should go with my instincts and so I went ahead and booked my surgery date with Dr. Motoki. I really didn't have any problems with surgery...sure it hurt for a few days afterwards, but I think that because Bonnie and Dr.Motoki spent so much time talking with me before I even had my surgery, I was well prepared for the entire experience. The most difficult part of surgery and recovery was not being able to pick up my little girl for those weeks afterwards, but it has been SOOOO worth it! I just had my 3 month checkup and am absolutely amazed by how beautiful my breasts look! They actually are prettier than I had even dared hope for. I am looking forward to being able to enjoy this summer without being self-conscious about my body!
First off, it was the best decision I've ever made and I've never had any regret or buyers remorse. I'm so happy every single day that I did this. I've always been small-chested, never amounting to more than an almost A except when breastfeeding I was probably a B or a C. Once I weaned I flattened out again and was left with saggy, droopy almost A. It looked so bad, and I hated looking in the mirror. After many years of research and playing with the idea, I finally decided that since I'd given my children a gift, I would do the same for myself. I researched many doctors near my area, but Dr. Motoki seemed to stand out as far as level of professionalism from the staff, and I hadn't even met him yet. I'm an extremely private person, but Dr. Motoki and Bonnie, his assistant, were so helpful and professional it seemed more like a regular doctor exam, not at all the strange visit I anticipated. He took a look and took some notes and pix and said I was a good candidate for breast augmentation and said I wouldn't have to have a lift like I was dreading. That was good. I was going to visit another doctor that day, but I was so impressed with Dr. Motoki I decided to book with him. The procedure went perfectly well and recovery, though irritatingly slow because I just wanted to get up and take care of my family, in reality went by quickly. I had no complications and my implants "dropped" by 6 months, leaving me with breasts like I never imagined I could have on my own body. I LOVE them. They look so natural and beautiful and like the ones I should have been born with, only perkier for my age! I never could have dreamed up better results. Seeing my before and after photos only highlights this, as I compare the droopy, sad-looking skin that have transformed into full, womanly curves. Dr. Motoki is truly an artist, and Bonnie was an angel and answered every question and concern (and I had lots of both.) I highly recommend Dr. Motoki and this procedure. Updated on 16 Oct 2014:
After I had 5 kids and nursed them all, I was in desperate need of a lift. I have never been big busted, so I have wanted to get implants for awhile too! So I decided to do a lift and get silicone implants. They answered all of my questions and I felt very confident in my decision! My experience was great! My recovery was exactly as they explained it, and I would do it all over again!!
Just like so many of my friends, my post-baby body left something to be desired. I took the advice of my OB and on his recommendation went to see Dr. Motoki. The entire experience has been great. I feel and look so much better than I ever thought was possible. I can honestly say that I feel like Dr. Motoki and his wonderful nurse are the best in Utah!
Things just got real! I just spoke with the surgery center and I am going in at 7:00am tomorrow morning! I haven't posted much about myself before, so I'll provide some details. I'm 5'2" tall and approx. 130 lbs (hoping to get back down to 120 again). I am getting 550cc HP Natrelle silicone. l'll try to post before and after pics if anyone is interested! I hope my experience is helpful to at least a few other lovely ladies!
I am 37, I have 6 kids, 3 I gave birth too, the last one was by C-section 2 years ago and has taken its toll on my body. I hate my stomache! I am getting a breast augmentation, while in for a consultation, the thought of a tummy tuck crossed my mind. I was not prepared to ask many questions at that time, I was not very familiar with a tummy tuck. I am constantly going back and forth, Is it worth it? the expense? the recovery? the risk of complications? At times I think no, then I look in the mirror and then it's a HELL YES! so unsure and I am still looking for my surgeon Updated on 9 Nov 2011: Finally set my date, 3 weeks away! I am so excited for my mm, I have been focused on tt that I didn't give too much thought on BA. Well here I am needing to order implants and so freaked out. Lifetime choice here! I am having a hard time picturing myself without the flabby stomach to decide on size. I am a small B maybe. I was liking the mid profile 421 cc, ended up selecting 500 high profile. I have a week to change my mind. I am 37, 3 kids that I breastfeed for a year each. 136 Ibs. Wish it would just get here already Updated on 4 Dec 2011: I am 4 days po. At day two I was admitted into the hospital. Prior to surgery I had concerns with my intolerance to pain meds, for good reason I soon found, I was unable to keep nothing down not a sip of water. Ps tried changing my anti-nausea meds. But it was to late I had asmerated (sp?) some vomit turned to pneumonia, I am home now bruised and sore but happy. I was dyhrated so drawing blood was a challenge, I had to have blood transfusion, I lost a lot of blood with lipo it was pouring out of me first day out of surgery, then I started period. Hope all of you ladies are doing well Updated on 14 Dec 2011: I am working part time, office job. Everyday gets better, off pain meds. Sleeping a few hours in bed. Wishing the drains will come out soon but doubtful
Thank you for your question and photos. The photos are consistent with rectus diastasis but you do not appear to have lots of skin laxity. Liposuction will not do anything for the rectus diastasis. There are different types of tummy tucks that might be useful in your situation that allow for repair of the muscles and for a low scar. A detailed exam is necessary to confirm these impressions. Please see an experienced and board certified plastic surgeon prior to relocating and learn about your options. That way you will have information based on a complete evaluation.
Thank you for your question. Anxiety before surgery is normal and the fact that you are petite is actually an advantage. The combination of procedures that you describe and the time of four hours sounds very reasonable providing you are healthy, members of the surgical team are experienced and an accredited surgical facility is being used. Your surgeon should be certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and should be highly experienced. The surgeon should provide you with detailed pre-operative and post-operative instructions and address any of your concerns prior to surgery.
Thank you for your question and pictures. Based on the photos I suspect you would do better with a breast lift that results in a circum-areolar scar and an inferior vertical scar (lollipop) or a circum-areolar scar and an inferior inverted T scar (anchor scar). A lift that results in a circum-areolar scar alone may not provide you with enough of a lifting effect. However, a proper surgical plan can only be made after an in-person exam. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon to learn about what options would provide you with the result you desire.
Depending on your area you may need two different surgeons although many plastic surgeons can do both of these procedures. Breast augmentation and labiaplasty can be safely performed at the same time. Please see a board certified and experienced plastic surgeon to learn about your options.
I have never done a TUBA so you should ask the original surgeon if breast implant removal is possible through the umbilicus. I think this would be very difficult and some of the implant could be left behind. If you are concerned about keloids I would perform the explant using an infra-mammary incision as a keloid in this area is easier to cover up than an armpit keloid. The armpit keloid would be visible in sleeveless tops, bras, swim wear, etc.
