I had a rhinoplasty & otoplasty done together about 4 weeks ago, but I would also like to improve the lower third of my face by correcting my weak chin & jaw. I was therefore wondering how long I should wait before I can get jaw & chin implants/fillers. Thanks in advance for your feedback

I do not think that there is anything wrong with your face. Cosmetic surgery is the alteration of normal form into one which is more acceptable to the patient. Plastic surgeons are guided by their experience regarding how a change, small or big, may suit your face. Your chin could be made bigger...
Some patients are at high risk for having clots in their legs, etc after surgical procedures. In such patients, anticoagulants are prescribed to prevent this.Simply call your MD and ask him/her.

Swelling can occur up to 1 year post-op. I recommend consulting with your physician about options to keep swelling at a minimum. You can also watch your salt intake, as salt will increase any swelling. Patience is key.good luck!
