Could a rhinoplasty make my nose appear less bulky and more defined? (photos)

Rhinoplasty can indeed achieve the goals that you have described but it would need to some preparation to make the most of it.

To begin with, it would be wise to have a cone beam CT scan to make sure that the structures at the top of the bridge are normal and that it is a simple matter of wider configuration. Ultrasonic rhinoplasty can help to dramatically change the width of the bridge although in most instances it is preferable to do a moderate rather than a dramatic change.

For the underside of the tip, my impression is that the tip defining points are in good position and what is needed is more curvature of the cartilages of the nasal tip with support so they do not move up again.

Simple photographs are not of great value to simulate the impact of this change. 3D photographs can highlight the impact of changes in the columella and without changing the position of the nostril rim.

The nose appears good in the profile side view. From front the nasal bones, tip and nostrils appear wide. Alarplasty, Tip-plasty and Nasal osteotomies should address that.

I honestly don’t see that a rhinoplasty would be very worthwhile. I don’t know what specifically you want changed . Consultation with a rhinoplasty surgeon could be helpful but make sure you are specific in discussing exactly what you want changed.

The nostrils are wide. I recommend you a rhinoplasty surgery. The nostrils can be smaller and we can make the nasal bridge smaller. Yes a properly done rhinoplasty can narrow your nose and refine your nasal tip to look less bulky.

Modern rhinoplasty technique involves an open rhinoplasty through a small incision underneath the nose which will not be visible. Using this procedure the nasal bones can be realigned to a narrower appearance and the cartilages and the tip can be refined. Be certain to ask your plastic surgeon if they will use cartilage grafting. Is very important that a small cartilage graft called a strut graft to be done to prevent the nose from dropping years after surgery.
