Smile is different 8 months after rhinoplasty - advice? (photos)

Hello, i had rhinoplasty almost 8 months ago, but my smile is still weird. I know that i have to wait a little bit longer regarding swelling, but different smile bothers me. Left photo is 5months post operation.

People's upper lips tends to get heavy with smiling, after rhinoplasty surgery, especially when there is surgery at the nasal base. We have not seen any permanent changes in somebody's smile after a full year of healing, so please don't worry. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

Your smile doesn’t really look different but it could feel different especially if you had a cartilage graft place in the lower part of the nose. This is something many surgeons do and it could make your nose seem weird when you smile
