I'm a 15 year old skinny girl and my neck connects straight to my chin its horrible and doesn't match with my body ,i wake up every day look in the mirror and hate it, i am so conscious when even speaking to people because it is so bad and from a side view its discusting I'm not insecure about anything else so its not like I'm just saying it ,it's really effecting me ,so my question is hold old do u have to be to have anything done ?? please help me live my life HAPPY!!

In our practice, we do not offer genioplasty which is a lengthy surgical procedure to cut your lower jaw bone and reposition it forward. If your dental occlusion is normal, you may consider consulting several reputable facial plastic surgeons so you could see if Chin Implant Surgery would be right for you. Based on your pictures, a chin implant could be a great option for you. Chin implants are
used to permanently enhance features with poor definition or projection and come in a variety of different sizes and shapes to compliment your face. I would suggest seeking a surgeon that has an advanced photo imaging system to help with the decision process. This system will allow you to see before and after images of what you will look like  post surgery.Good luck on your search!

Genetically, you have an 'underdeveloped' lower jaw; so it is best to consult with an orthodontist and maxillofacial surgeon who can work together to obtain the best result for you. One can do 'masking' procedures, but at your age, you should do the most ideal.
