I'm not sure what type of surgery I need, but I figure it has to do with the chin. I have attached pictures so you can see my face at different angles. I hate the way that my face looks cosmetically. Not only this, but there is a uncomfortable lip strain when my lips meet. My resting face is more comfortable with the lips separated and therefore I always leave my mouth open. I would love to get some input from professionals on here before I seek advise elsewhere. Thanks so much for your time.

Answer: Sliding Genioplasty for Short Chin and Mentalis Muscle Strain
The pictures are too small to delineate what needs to be performed. It does appear that you have a week chin profile. A genioplasty can address your bone structure of the mandible and set it forward. This surgery is performed under general anesthesia at a hospital with an inpatient stay...
Your photo shows that, although you're not overweight, there are are localized areas of fat which move up over the jaw when you smile. It would helpful to see a photo from the side to determine if a chin Implant would improve your profile. The areas of fat can be corrected with liposuction.
