What can I do about my pointy chin and manly jaw

How can I make the lower half of my face appear more feminine? I have a jaw and chin exactly like my dad and I have always been very self conscious about it because I feel that it makes me look manly. I know that if I had my hairline lowered it would make my face appear smaller but I am honestly okay with having a big forehead because I always wear bangs anyway. Is there any way that I could make the lower half of my face more vshaped instead of oblong ?

Hi Pensacola08,You are asking about facial feminization surgery.  We do a number of procedures to address these very issues.  There are hairline lowering procedures, but the primary thing you want to know about is chin and jaw shaping.  This is all done through the inside of your mouth - there are no visible scars.  You get some swelling, but within a few weeks start to see the v-line jaw you want.I encourage you to learn more about this facial feminization of the jaw as we do here in Boston.

Chin and jawline bone reshaping can be done through an intraoral approach. The chin can be narrowed and setback by osteotomies and the jawline can be shaved down on the sides. This is the feminization approach to a masculine jawline.
